Processing Workshop
for Organic Teams
A two-day program at the village, including an overnight stay
Group | Nature | Handwork | Body-mind
Tailored to the team together with the commander
For reserve teams and security forces units
The program is intended for reserve teams and security forces units that have been through a long period and intense events together. The team arrives as a group that knows each other, and at the village a safe space is created to pause, share and process together what they went through.
The goal is to strengthen the power of the group, the sense of belonging and personal resilience, and to provide practical tools for coping and for the transition between reserve duty and everyday life.
The program combines trauma-informed work with the village's connection to land and nature. Each round is tailored to the team in a preliminary conversation with the unit commander, and is guided by the village's professional team. The work takes place in groups of up to 10, with the opening and closing held with the whole team.
What Happens Over the Two Days
A safe space
We open in a circle, get to know the place
and build together an agreement of
listening and discretion.
Resilience tools
Practical tools for coping
and for regulating body and mind,
to strengthen personal and team resilience.
Timeline and sharing
Each person and the whole team
place what they went through,
and share at the group's pace.
Workshops at the village
Yoga therapy, gardening and planting,
qigong or mandalas in nature.
A creation that stays at the village.
A resilience figure
Identifying the personal
and group strengths that helped
us hold on.
Transitions and returning to routine
Between reserve duty and home, relationships
and work. What I take with me
and what I leave here.

About Kfar Sarah
Kfar Sarah is a space for guidance and growth for security forces personnel and their families in a natural setting, through a connection between people and land that lets them experience the very best and opens a new chance for a full and meaningful life.
The village is intended for women and men alike who, during their military or security service, were exposed to threatening, dangerous or traumatic events, sights and experiences.
The village's programs are built on four cornerstones:
The group: a shared experience of belonging and mutual recognition, in which trust is built and a sense of togetherness grows stronger.
The body: body-mind work and trauma-sensitive yoga, which help reconnect with sensations, attune and regulate, and restore a sense of control and safety.
Productivity: carpentry, wood carving, mosaic and gardening, ending in a tangible product and an experience of capability, choice, persistence and completing a process.
Nature: time among trees and earth, in a quiet and protected space, connecting participants to growth and to the cycles of life.
Together with an experienced professional team that combines short-term therapeutic methods, participants receive a unique and beneficial experience.
The village is located at the Aaronsohn Farm, Atlit (directions).
